Auch von ihnen können wir lernen: die Schönheit im Moment ganz anzunehmen, ohne an morgen zu denken. Sie nehmen die ganze Blüte, während die Mejiro-Vögel elegant mit ihren feinen Schnäbeln nur den Nektar herausziehen.

The Parrots

With their exotic extravagance, they appear among the sakura blossoms, and one may wonder: where do they come from?

Calmly perched in the branches, they devour entire blossoms without concern for whether the beauty fades too soon. Beneath the tree, piles of fallen petals gather around the trunk — a quiet testament to their feast.

From them, too, we can learn something: to embrace beauty fully in the present moment, without worrying about tomorrow. They take the whole blossom, while the mejiro birds elegantly draw out only the nectar with their delicate beaks.
